Why We Built Stem Nova Direct
Two brothers, one phone call, and the family experience that pointed us toward something bigger than a business.
We never planned to build Stem Nova Direct. We weren't sitting around a whiteboard mapping out a B2C platform for regenerative medicine. We were just two brothers who'd spent our careers in health and wellness, most recently in hemp and cannabis, because we've always believed the body has more capacity to recover and adapt than most of us are taught.
Then, in 2023, we got a phone call that rearranged everything.
The Call
Our father had just been diagnosed with stage 2 kidney failure.
If you've been on the other end of a call like that, you know what happened next. The room got quiet. The list of things that mattered five minutes earlier shrank to almost nothing. We weren't health entrepreneurs anymore. We were sons.
Inside fifteen minutes, we were on the phone with someone we trusted in the regenerative medicine space — a contact we'd built over years of being curious about a part of medicine most people only encounter when they've run out of other options. We didn't deliberate. We didn't ask for second opinions. We made a decision the way families make decisions when there's nothing else to lose.
Two weeks later, our dad was in Arizona for a stem cell procedure with a licensed physician.
What We Watched
What we saw in the months that followed isn't ours to medicalize, and it isn't ours to claim as a clinical outcome. What we can say is what we watched, as his sons:
His mobility came back. The limp he'd been favoring went away. His energy returned. The labs that came in over the following months were better than the ones that scared us in the first place. More than two years later, he's still walking, still working, still here.
Was it the stem cells? That's a conversation that belongs to him and to his physicians. We are not those physicians. We are not making a medical claim about what regenerative medicine did or didn't do for our father, and we'd never want anyone reading this to assume their experience would track ours.
What we will say is that the experience pulled regenerative medicine out of the abstract for us and put it at the center of what we wanted to do with the rest of our careers.
What That Experience Taught Us
Once we were past the immediate fear, three things stayed with us.
1. Access shouldn't depend on who you know.
The reason we got our dad in front of the right physician with the right product within two weeks is that we'd built relationships in this space for years. We had a phone number. Most families don't. Most families don't even know that's a phone number worth having.
That's not a system. That's luck. And it's not the kind of luck that should decide whether someone gets quality information about their options.
2. Quality varies — and most people can't tell the difference.
The regenerative medicine space is full of suppliers, providers, and brokers, and the gap between the best and the worst is enormous. Particle counts get fabricated. "FDA-approved" gets claimed when it isn't true. Disease promises get made when they shouldn't be. Patients pay clinical-grade prices for products that wouldn't survive a real lab review.
We knew, because we'd been buying from real labs and reading real certificates of analysis for years. Most families have no way to know.
3. The middle of this market has failed people.
The information layer between a curious patient and a vetted provider — the place where good questions should get good answers — is mostly missing. What's there instead is a confusing sprawl of clinic websites, Instagram testimonials, and brokers whose incentives don't align with the people they're supposed to be serving.
We didn't want to build another supplier. We wanted to build the layer in between — the one we wished had existed when our dad got that diagnosis.
Why "Direct"
We named it Stem Nova Direct for a reason.
Direct, because we want a direct line of sight from the family asking the question to the provider equipped to answer it — without three layers of brokers in between.
Direct, because we want a direct view into where biologics come from, what's actually in the vial, and which lab tested it. Every product offered through the Stem Nova ecosystem ships with a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis. Not marketing copy. The actual lab report.
Direct, because we want a direct relationship between Stem Nova and the physicians in our network. We don't sell biologics to our members. We connect members with vetted, licensed providers who do — providers we've credentialed, products we can document, protocols built on published research instead of marketing claims.
What Stem Nova Direct Is
A members-first platform connecting families and individuals with credentialed regenerative medicine providers and verified biologic products.
- Vetted providers. Every clinical partner in the Stem Nova network is a licensed medical professional we've credentialed. No directories full of strangers.
- Verified products. Every biologic in our ecosystem ships with a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis from an AATB-accredited, FDA-registered tissue establishment operating under cGTP standards (21 CFR Part 1271).
- Guided membership. Three tiers — Essential, Advanced, and Elite — built around education, access, and ongoing support, not procedures we can't legally promise.
Stem Nova Direct does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We connect, we educate, we vet. Clinical decisions belong to you and a licensed physician.
Who This Is For
We built Stem Nova Direct for the people who shouldn't have to do what most people do today.
You shouldn't have to leave the country.
Every year, thousands of Americans board planes to Mexico, Panama, Colombia, the Bahamas, and the Caymans to access regenerative medicine they assumed they couldn't get at home. They pay $20,000 to $50,000-plus for clinic packages, plus flights, hotels, and the very real medical risk of recovering in a country whose hospital they don't know.
The reason they go isn't that the United States has nothing legitimate to offer. The reason they go is that nobody has organized the legitimate US network in a way a regular family can navigate. Stem Nova Direct is that network. The providers are licensed. The products are documented. The labs are real. You don't need a passport.
You shouldn't have to take three days off work to ask a question.
No driving across town. No sitting in a waiting room with a year-old magazine. No clipboard of forms you've filled out four times already at four other clinics. Stem Nova Direct connects you with regenerative medicine specialists by telehealth — from your living room, on your schedule, with your records pulled up on your screen instead of a fax machine.
The first conversation should feel like a real conversation. Not an appointment.
For what ships, it ships to your door.
Topical biologics, longevity products, and other consumer-shippable items in the Stem Nova ecosystem are delivered direct. Discreet packaging. Cold-chain logistics where the product calls for it. No pharmacy trips, no driving across town to pick something up at the front desk.
For the protocols that have to happen in a licensed clinical setting — stem cell injections, joint injections, IV protocols, in-office regenerative procedures — we connect you with a credentialed provider in our network, as close to home as we can get you. We don't try to ship those, and we'd be skeptical of anyone who does. Injectable stem cells are not a self-administered product, and any company telling you otherwise is selling you something we wouldn't.
And it's for the people who'd rather skip the noise.
It's for families who've started asking the questions we started asking in 2023, but don't have a phone number to call. It's for people who've been told their options are running out — or that their only option is to fly somewhere — and want a serious, sober look at what regenerative medicine actually is, and isn't, in their specific situation.
It's not a shortcut. It's not a cure. It's not a replacement for the medicine you're already getting from the physicians who know you. It's a network — built carefully, on purpose, by two brothers who got lucky once and don't think anyone else should have to depend on luck.
What's Next
Stem Nova Direct is built as a single end-to-end path — from the first question you ask to the ongoing support after. No traveling abroad. No guesswork. Just quality care, delivered in six steps:
It starts with five minutes and a few honest questions about you.
